This is a version of a tool chest that I have used for years. The material is black walnut with hard maple trim. All dove tails are hand cut. This was started as a new box for me to use on the job but as you can see it got away from me. hope you like it.

Very impressive. In the first photo there is a horizontal line or cable running across the face. What is that?

Hi,
The line running across the front is the piano hinge for the front cover.
