My first tea cabinet. Curly maple I bought while I lived in New York and has been sitting in the garage in Sydney for 8 years. Ripped 6mm strips and laminated onto ply.

Oil finish.

I am really keen to see what everyone thinks of my first every project on the site.

Great looking project, I,m not sure if I have seen a tea cabinet, but it looks like it will get the job done very well.

Simple and elegant. Really showcases the wood, nice work!

I think the way you organized the wood is great. How does it open? The last picture looks like there are push to open “thing a ma bobs” Welcome to LJ’S!

Looks good, simple design but really shows the beauty of the curly maple. Great job!
