Clamp Rack - Utilitarian Version

was getting REALLY tired of stashing my various clamps here or there in the garage: leaning up against a table only to topple over when I moved the table, laying on the ground, sitting on work benches. So, I whipped this Utilitarian Version (meaning, it’s not pretty but functional) to hold my current number of clamps. As always, looking for ways to save on real estate space anyway I can. Hence, the swing out portion for the Quick Clamps. This does not address the odd number of pipe clamps I have but that will be for later. Also, I can easily reach all clamps to install and remove, except for 2. Going to have to do something about that. Pretty easy to make with simple parts. And it does sit against the wall with the use of French Cleats.

Awesome idea. This just may help with my current dilemma. Hope you don’t mind if I borrow the idea.

To have that much wall space. You are lucky.

mark… wall space will soon become an issue, I’m sure.
ben… not my original idea. I gained inspiration from other clamp racks on LJ’s projects and just whipped it into a rack that works for me.

You will see new clamps on sale somewhere and buy 10-15 of them and then wonder where do I put these now ONLY after you get home. Because we can NEVER have enough clamps…. (laughing)
