Paper Clip Holders

These paper clip holders are made from a branch of a Torrey Pine. Torrey Pines only grow naturally in two places, Torrey Pines State Reserve in San Diego (La Jolla) and on an island off Santa Barbara. They are a protected species. The wood only becomes available when a tree needs to be trimmed or cut due to its health.

These paper clip holders are going to be sold (along with other items made from Torrey Pine, by others) in the gift shop of the Torrey Pines Inn with all proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project.

This is a good project all the way around! Using wood that shouldn’t be wasted and turning it into useful, beautiful items, selling them and using the funds for a worthy cause. Thanks for sharing.
BTW, clever item too, making paper clip holders.

Cool paper clip holders! Wood is very pretty and like the variety of shapes. I’m sure they will sell well. Great job for a great cause!
