This cabinet was 1st place in the ” Mary Durack Outback Hall Of Fame Craft Awards ” about 10 years ago. It is called ” Three Feet High & Rising ” apologies to Johnny Cash.

The framing is PNG Walnut, panels Pacific Maple & the back is t&g Jarrah. The panels are shaped then freehand routed. Jigged routing would look too stiff. These panels were made after much experimentation. This is original work. I’ve included my 1st go at this technique, all over the place.

Test Cabinet, routing all over the place. It has a tv now but could well become a tool cupboard.

I really like it Bill. Particularly the drawer front.

Original work… you are a gifted fellow.

Very unique and interesting, makes a great appearance & cabinet. I noticed you drawer dovetails are really tight, nice work.
