Another great piece of art Ron, nice shape and colors. What color is the burl before bleaching?

The burl is a very light tan. This burl was dug almost 40 years ago and has been sitting around drying. I have a couple more of these large burls to yet turn. It took 2 of us to carry each of these.

Very nice work!
I don’t do any turning myself but I appreciate the work of those that do!
I noticed that the red and blue areas are about the same size, just as in real life.
