My son is a turkey hunting fanatics. After he saw the coat racks that I made he suggested that I replace the wooden pegs with a shelf to display turkey beards. The shelf is 1 5/8 wide and I drilled 5 holes that will hold the brass from the shotgun shell. I hot glued the beards into the brass, once set I rolled them in a half sheet of paper a slide them down into the holes. I had a gobbler engraved in the mirror.

Looks like he has harvested some nice birds. Nice work on the shelf. A fan above it would be a nice touch to finish it off.

Beautiful build, like the addition of the shelf and the engraving is a nice accent. Great job!
