Finished a jewelry box for my mom. The box is tiger maple with black dyed pear wood inlay. The interior dividers and tray are cherry and suede. The finish is French polished dewaxed shellac.

Really good inlay. Very clean. Did you cut the inlay with a router or by hand or just what? NICE!

What a lovely gift for your mother John! Very fine woodworking and inlay … I love your use of that beautifully grained Tiger Maple, and the professional touch used in the completion inside as well :)
