Hi folks, been a while but thought I’d post a picture of a pen I made sometime last month. This was one I was excited to see how it turned out. I stabilized some red mallee burl and really probably could have just sanded and buffed it as-is, but I gave it a CA finish and threw a Bock nib on it. I think balancing the pen on the cap for the picture may have been the most tedious part lol. Anyway thanks for looking, hope you like it.

Nice work, John. That’s a beautiful pen.

Great looking pen! Like the lathe you are working too. I think I have its twin.
Your other pen projects are awesome too!
Thanks for sharing your talent with us

The burl is beautiful and the balance photo is cool too. Nice work.
