What to do with all the cool scraps laying around the shop?
Make a pen or 2 of course!
1st is an Amboyna burl and the other is some awesome spalted maple.
This was a nice change from box making.

thanks Dave, judging by the overwhelming lack of responses to my post I’m guessing I should stick with boxes..lol

yep, a nice balmy -13 today, tomorrow we are expecting a heat wave ..only -1 for the high.

Great looking pens. One scrap is another project, you proved that. The finish is beautiful.

Both pens look elegant. The blanks are gorgeous and perfect with the kits. Great fit and awesome finish.
