Build this knotty alder dining table for a friend as a surprise Christmas gift for his wife. The design came from a rough sketch on the back of an envelope and a 2 week window to complete it in.
Its build heavy duty, each leg weighs about 50 lbs, the center beam is another 35 lbs, and the top is 120+ lbs.
I made the mistake of bringing it into my house for some pictures, now my wife want a new table! The fun never ends. Matching bench and chairs in the near future.
Tell me what you think of it.
