Wooden iPhone speaker

I made this speaker out of aromatic cedar.
Bandsaw the parts, sanded and glued together. Finished with Danish oil. One picture is with flash the other one is with natural light.
Tested the iPhone speaker with dB tester. The sound come out of the iPhone speaker as 75 dB, when I placed the iPhone into the wooden speaker, the sond was amplified to 92 dB.

That’s great! I have not seen one of these, either hand made or bought. Very unique. Hi-tech meets lo-tech.
