Project Information

I needed to make a better stand for my planner. Plus I wanted to practice with dovetails. They have been intimidating me for a while.
This is my first try at a cabinet. Thus the cheap plywood. I learned that the stiles need to be wider so I could have used the face-hinges I bought for this. So another trip back to buy a different thinner kind of hinge.

I may also add casters to help move it around. Thinking about putting on a hinged wing to mount my dovetail jig. It would be nice to keep it off my workbench. It gets a little busy in that area as it is.

For storage & organization….
And as a valued learning experience!!!

Nice build, I too find the dovetail jig a bit intimidating. Just ordered a Porter Jig from HD and looking forward to giving it a try.
