Business Card Holders

Here are a few business card holders that I made. The top one is made of walnut and made bandsaw box style. The two farthest left are walnut, then mahogany, spalted hickory, and finally mahogany with Bombay mahogany stain. I was trying to use up some smaller pieces of wood rather than throw them away. Thanks for looking!

G’day Gary, Well done Mate. It’s good to find a use for all bits and pieces of timber, so full marks for not wasting timber.

With those smaller pieces, are they for more than one business card? Or just the one card? The Band saw Box is particularly good! I can see that you would hold quite a few cards in it. Very handy if you were traveling and wanted the cards to be kept in pristine condition. Good imagination and thought went into this project.

I hope you and your family are coping with that extremely cold winter you are having in North America.

Regards and Happy Woodworking.

Cliff.

Thanks Cliff! The smaller ones will probably hold 10 to 15 cards.
Thanks Monte! I thought the idea was pretty cool as well. They won’t be a big money maker but they are easy and quite fun to make.

Good work on the holders. Makes me want to carry one around to show off. Surprised they hold that many cards.

I like them too! I have made some business card holders too with sliding covers.

I don’t like to waste small pieces of wood either as there is no such thing as scrap wood!
