I made this cabinet for my girl friend last year for her birthday. She has a lot of jewelry, and I’m sure this only covers a part of it!

The drawers are maple front and poplar for the secondary wood, and this was the first time I used flocking. Was easy to do and is standing up well.

The main cabinet is cherry and maple, and is finished with tung oil varnish and some paste wax.

Looks great, lots of storage, and nice wood combo.

Great job on that beautiful cabinet. Great design and execution. Like the joints and the drawers. I’m sure the wife loves it.
