Built this a while back after seeing different sleds on you tube and thought it was a great idea. Sence I am prone to accidents I decided that I should put some type of blade cover for my protection after the saw passes the fence. I also added the push and pull handle for something smooth to rest my hand on and also keep far away from the blade. Nipped the tip of my thumb off about 25 years ago and been gun shy every sence.

I like the idea of the blade cover on back of the sled. I also am safety conscience and this is a great way to keep the blade covered.
