I’ve been getting into carving nudes lately, for obvious reasons. I LOVE WOODWORKING. I hope you enjoy, and no the ladies don’t mind.

sometimes it’s the story behind the pics. friends clients inspirations, what type of wood? better hurry before too many are offended.

These are portraits of real girls. They are basically one of a kind cnc ballnose routed carvings 15” x 24” using different hardwoods and stains. A bit of careful sanding for some relief contrast. As for the stories….

First of all, I like CMC’s machines.. they do have their place, but if I understand this, you design a pattern you wished cut in the wood on a computer, place the wood, attach the bit and punch a button. Yea I know there is a bit more to it than that. I do like the art work, but would have been better if hand carved. Sorry, do not mean to put your work down.

A bit hard to cut nudes with a bandsaw…but a scroll saw I started out on would work.
