This is a piece of maple that measures 5” tall by 7.5” wide. I was pleased with the shape and the hollow form. It finally seams like I am understanding how the tool works. It is finished with Seal-A-Cell, lacquer and Briwax. All comments welcome.

Now that I’m starting to try to turn these, I’m noticing little things on your bowls that I think help make them look so complete. Like the tiny flare at the foot. Of course the beautiful piece of wood makes it look great. Thanks for sharing.

Great job. I need to get back to turning bowls. I’ll try and post some of mine tomorrow. Where do you get your unending supply of bowl material?
