I made this turned box today. I was trying to accentuate the feet. It’s designed to look somewhat like a rocket. It’s made of walnut, about 5” tall and 2.5” in diameter. Finished on the lathe with several coats of O.B.’s Shine Juice and my beeswax and maple oil concoction. I posted a footed turned box the other day. A fellow LJ asked me how I made the feet. I took lots of photos of the turning process so I can write a little blog when I get the time. Critiques welcome.

Glen, this is great! Once again, I like the added element with the feet. Looking forward to the write up on how you do it.
