I don’t usually get much business off Facebook, but I have one customer that wanted this. She sent me a picture of it. Mine is the first one, the original picture she sent me is the one with the picture in the background.
I made it from solid walnut.

Took a couple hours and a cut thumb, but not a bad way to make $85.

Nice! I would like to make one of these soon. I actually turned a blank for one but it had already split too deep into the piece from drying out. Someday.

Brett, I used three pieces of walnut glued up to keep the pin from cracking and warping. Two pieces would have been fine, but I wanted to be sure to get the girth I needed.

That’s a beauty!
I just made some pins using walnut. I believe I prefer it over Sapele although Sapele does have more consistant coloring.
