Couple more pics of my little ebony box. Lid is Cocobolo. Hinges are small pins that don’t show.

Nice little box OW. All band saw? How did you hide the pins?

This was literally made from throw away scraps. What can you do with a piece of wood 2” by 2”? Not one piece was bigger than that. And it took about as long to build as a big box. hinge pins are needles pushed through the side into the top. Then the grain over the needle is squeezed back together and burnished so the hole closes.

Cool, like that it’s small and compact and how it opens. Beautiful wood and finish. Great job!
