This is an end table I made of walnut. I used basic shaker style components including tapered legs and a top with a tapered bottom edge. I laminated four pieces of walnut together for the top and used 4/4 for the aprons and 6/4 for the legs. I made a leg tapering jig specifically for this project and will be able to use it for future projects as well.

Some of you may have noticed me doing some finishing work in my kitchen from my earlier thread, that was for this project. And lets just say, I wont be doing much more finishing inside after that one experience :-/ haha Oh well, it was fun and convenient while it lasted…

Nice work, Eric. What kind of finish did you use?

Excellent! The key is to get the Mrs. hooked on your furniture too. This is a good start;)

Classy table, great design and beautiful wood. Like the tapered legs and nice finish. Great job!

Have your say...
