We call it the Schnauzer Area Denial System. Keeps Cooper out of the dining room and, more importantly, off the nice rug in there.

I’ve got a couple others in the house made with different numbers of panels to deny doggy access to selected areas.

Cheap Menards Pine with Minwax Water-Borne Walnut stain and a Polycrylic top coat.

This is a great project with a very practical application. I have too add it to my projects list. Nicely done -thanks for sharing.
