This is the first of what I expect to be many wood projects to come out of my small half garage sized workshop. I am an avid fly fisherman and fly tier so I figured why not have my first fly tying station come from my own work. Due to my own procrastination it took longer than it should have but I was ultimately pleased with the finished result. I hope you like it as I am a novice to wood workshop.

Wow! That is a fancy place to tie some flys! Good job and I am sure you will appreciate that you built it everytime you sit down to create some more flys. My son and daughter just inherited some fly rods/reels and fly tieing equipment from my uncle. It will be something that we learn about together. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Brett. I hope your son and daughter find the joy in fly fishing. I’m sure they’ll love it. Great shop by the way.

It looks like it has a slide out drawer so all of the “trimmings” don’t fall on the floor. Nice idea! I used to tie flies. Nice when hobbies overlap, huh? : )
