Turned an acrylic bottle stopper at the request of my wife. I had turned my first acrylic earlier in the day (a pen). Turning the acrylics was relatively easy and man, does it throw some smooth shavings…....although it was a little stinky in the shop afterwards. It was a little dull and hazy afterwards. I sanded it up to 600 grit and used some car polishing compound and car wax to shine it up. Can’t tell from the picture, but it’s like glass now! I will be experimenting with the acrylics in the future for sure! Thanks for checking it out.
