african paduak vessel done on ringmaster "not turned"

My 7 year old grandson drew this and I made it out of african paduak..It has 11 individual rings and is 8” wide and did create an interesting grain pattern..finish is teak oil and lacquer..thanks for looking..comments appreciated

Peter, it looks like an eye for form got passed down from grandpa to grandson. Beautifully executed piece.

That’s beautiful, Peter. I’d forgotten that I bought one of the original Ring Masters some twenty (maybe) years ago! I should get it out of mothball and put it to good use, heh? You really did a nice job on it!

Beautiful wood and design… I think you need to keep your grandson stocked up with pencils and paper for more designs for granddad to make….:)
