I know you’ve seen this one before, but …

The good folks at Scroll Saw Woodworking made a nice little video of my frog boxes in action, in conjunction with their Spring 2014 issue.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=vyT-KFa_wus

Please note that the colored Rain Forest Frog crawls (as in through the trees), while the naturally-finished Bullfrog hops (as in through the mud).

Attention to detail is everything. :)

Pretty darn cool, John. I thought they were neat when they were inanimate, but to see them in motion, well, better still.

That is just so awesome. You totally raised the bar.

This is great John, I watched it twice.

Froggy is even better in action.

Now we need a commercial on network television and we’ll have all the media covered! chuckle

I wonder if the site supports gifs?

Nope.

Lovely, made me smile.
So fine details and finish.

These frogs keep hopping up in my watch list. Enough to make someone croak already.

John, you see my mean streak is alive and well and I hope you understand the intentions to be humorous!

oldnovice: Now that the video is getting Grammy buzz, I’m going to kick back and crank out frog boxes for the rest of the year. Two species down, 923 to go. :)

Just get yourself 923 wooden tadpoles!

Are you going to do these all by yourself or are you going to farm out some of this build?

Do any of the pieces lend themselves to CNC fabrication?
