Here is a router extension that I added to my Craftsman Table saw. It’s nothing fancy but is functional. The fence for the table saw works on the router extension and I will be making an attachment to slide over my existing fence to accommodate a router bit. I also may give it a coat of paint.
This project allowed me to free up some floor space that was previously taken up by my router table. The new base for the table saw was actually my router table before, I just cut down the legs to make it shorter and was even able to use the top from it, the hole that used to be for the router worked great to let the dust fall through from the table saw. The best part of this project is that it cost me $0.00 as it was all repurposed material or scrap.
