I have not had a chance lately to spend much time in the shop, though I am trying to remedy that.
I have been playing with routed signs and seeing some the latest ones posted reminded me that I did not post my first completed one. It was made on scrap wood I had laying around, nothing special but I do like it and it now hangs in my shop.
The other item posted here is a frame I made a little while ago to post one of my inspirations for creativity. The frame was made with 1×2s from HD. and the plexiglass and backboard was taken out of one of those cheap poster frames with the clip around edges. The clip around edges never seem to work very well or hold in place and are impossible to hang on the wall (however they make great paint stir sticks :) ). The pexiglass and backer boards worked perfectly though for this frame. The used black stian to paint the frame, it works well with the b&W poster. Both are hung using pieces of plant chain and shower curtain hooks from my storage shelves. Planning to make more frames and signs in order to decorate that fake wall and when I need to get at storage i just unhook them and sit them aside.
Thanks all for looking. Look forward to posting more soon, maybe when the paint dries on my latest project.

Wish my first hand routed sign turned out that nice!
I remember when Kermit and gang were in black and white for a 15 min show sponsored by- I think- Eskay Hot Dogs. Jim Henson certainly was a creative genius.

Except when I read that motto – I think of this from the Rocky Horror Picture Show…
Videos can be found on You Tube – not for the humor or weirdness impaired, decidedly not safe for work.

I guess I’d put myself in the “few too many times” category too! :) :)
