A couple of small boxes made from some mystery plywood with either a walnut or mahogany veneer. Lids are solid red oak. Bottom is half inch baltic birch plywood. Box joints done with an INCRA I-BOX Jig. 6×9 x 3 inch out side measurements, not counting the lid.
Dye stained with general finishes water based dye, empire red. Followed by Zinsser clear shellac with transtint red mahogany dye added. And deft gloss brushing lacquer as the final finish coat. Shellac and lacquer applied with an hvlp spray gun.
