Frog Box Makes The Big Time !!!

A few people asked me where they could get plans for my frog boxes, and I’m happy to report that they’re available in the current issue of Scroll Saw Woodworking. A moth grabbed the cover glory, but at least I got a nice cameo walk-on and the honor of blurting out the contents of the magazine. Plans for both my colored Rain Forest Frog and naturally finished African Bullfrog are included.
Get ‘em while they’re hot!

Great project—thanks for the heads up. I will definitely be getting a copy of Scroll Saw Woodworking—even if I just have to add it to my bucket list for now.

That’s great, John. Accolades from your peers always sit well, especially when they’re well deserved. Really neat froggy.

It’s not a toy, Ivan, it’s a BOX for storing … uh … stuff. :)

A croak of honor for the Kermits maker and Kermit, but aren’t frogs green?

Congratulation John on a cover wining project!

Congratulations John. It’s always nice to get some recognition for a well done project. I hope you sell a lot of plans!

Do you think that could be made to be a pull toy for my grand daughter. I really like it.

Steve: Sure could! The idea behind the frog is that it’s a toy who grew up and faced the responsibilities of adulthood by becoming a useful box.

He must of grown up. He looks kind of ticked off in the second picture.

Congrats John. That is a special recognition to get published.

Steve: He IS ticked off because “someone” put his brother in the corner of the cover.
