Outdoor/Indoor Beer Pong Game with Caddy

This was actually a game that I bought at a local discount store that we used all summer last year until the boards were literally falling apart. they were mad from cheap particle board and didn’t stand up to the abuse of a bunch of drinking okies. Because they were so much fun I had little choice but to rebuild them with some stronger material. I used some 1×12’S that were left at my place by the previous owner and used most of the hardware that was on the boards previously. Did a little woodburning of the name of my place on the boards before stainimg amd sealing. It came in an equally as flimsy cloth/plastic/tissue paper bag which also tore to bits so I used pallet wood and made a caddy for my new boards, cups and balls. It came with two types of balls: regular ping pong balls for inside and heavier more malleable yellow balls for outside, that I haven’t been able to find to have back-ups.

Very nice! We always played where if you knock over a cup then you had to finish it and another from your stack, this would make that a little harder but that may not be a bad thing!

Also, as someone born in the red dirt and still listens to a lot of red dirt muscians, I really like your username. I use to play baseball with a bunch of boys from your neck of the woods.

Martin, you can find the official rules at http://www.bpong.com/beer-pong-rules/ , but in my experience more rules are made up during game play than anything else, and they get dumber and dumber as the game goes on.

Thanks David, appreciate ya checkin it out. With the outdoor game we usually wouldn’t fill cups due to the ball spending so much time in the dirt, so we had several rules for balls bouncing out of cup and in to another, and ball knocking cup out of holder and cup all the way off board. like I said the more the game went on the dumber it could get. Red dirt music scene is the reason for the handle. I’ve pretty much given up on most other genres, lol.
