This Tie Rack Hanger is made from 3/4” solid Cherry with 3/8” pine rods. The hanger has a grab handle and brass cup hooks on the sides for belts and suspenders. I only have five ties, so the four rods allow me plenty of room for more. It’s 15” wide and the sides are 11” long. The rods start at 1” down and are spaced 3” apart on center. Finished with Deft spray lacquer. I will no longer have to hang my ties awkwardly on a plastic hanger!

I like it, but don’t need it – you don’t wear many ties when you are Retired :-). Seriously though it is a very clever and useful build, thanks for sharing it.

Thanks! I wore a tie only once last year for just a few hours at a funeral. I’m glad I don’t have to wear one to work.

Smart. I do wear one to work everyday. I teach High school guitar and orchestra. I may have to make one of these. Right now the ties are piled up on one sorry hanger.

I’m new on here but I thought it was a pretty cool idea. Great for women’s scarves too!!

Great design and build. It makes a lot of possibilities not just for ties and it is way better than plastic ones.

Have your say...
