Made from clear cedar. Will accommodate 42 quart cooler. I wanted a nautical theme so I added a line cleat for the top handle and natural fiber line for side handle. I sanded it with 220 and put two coats of Thompson stain and sealer. The coke cap remover I bought on line. Over all fun project. The next one will be an actual ice cooler.

Hey I like it :)

I use a couple large coolers as humidors, but they’re awfully unsightly. This looks like a really good idea.

They work perfectly and they’re damn near free. I have a 92qt and a 99. Put a pound of 70% beads in each one and I don’t have to add water to them for the better part of a year.

Have your say...
