I built this table and chair set for my grand daughters Christmas present when she was two years old.
They are made of solid oak, the design just happened on the fly as I was building.
The chairs have several compound cuts that justified my buying a compond miter saw.
It was a project that was supposed to be quick and simple, but turned out a little more complicated than planned. (this always happens to me)
The finish is Minwax Early American with the Deft semi gloss lacquer top coat
Now she is almost five years old and still likes to sit and color, tea parties and the rest of the things little girs do at their tables.
