I posted my desk name, which was scrollsawn out of spalted maple. Here are a few more which I did back in the day, usually Mahagony, but some Cherry as well. I also would cut the other folks’ real name into the top of the piece as a compound cut.
well..
here’s my buddy Ron’s alternate name… we worked the graveyard shift together, and every once in awhile when he was tired he’d sign a message to a driver as ’ORN’, hence the nickname.
I no longer work for that company, but I plan on making a bunch more of these for my friends at my current job.

Thanks Debbie, I’d guess about half an hour, plus finishing… call it 45 minutes tops? That’s including drawing the name on the paper, spray adhesive it onto the blank then drilling the access holes… and then cutting.
