I built this flip top saw cart so I can have some space in my garage shop .this cart has wheels and is easy to move around .the top flips buy turning the Handel on the side to loosen up the cabinet to release the clamping pressure on the flip part.i have a 3/4 inch pipe going thru the center with bushing on the ends for smooth turning .i also drilled a hole in the pipe and ran a power cord to the center of the flip top so I can have both saws plugged in at all times
And ran a extension cord out the end of the pipe to power up the cart. I put a pine door on both sides to cover up the madness of the center. this cart works real good. If you want to see a vid I posted a vid on my YouTube channel
Under( flip top saw cart ) check it out Patrick’s work shop on you tube my flip top saw cart

This is my first flip top saw cart I call it my prototype I have plans to make a better one with drawers and better dust collection

Awesome idea! Very handy for smaller shops.

Have your say...
