I finished up these 3 fountain pens for a friend today. My first sold pieces! They are zircote, walnut and rosewood. I tried really hard to make sure that when the cap was screwed to the top that the grain lines would match up, but then I forgot to line up the clip and the nib, worked out on 2 of them to straight or perfectly 180 around but I’ll remember that for next time!
The pencil is zircote and zebrawood, I messed up the blank and found a remaining cut off of zircote so I thought the gold band would separate them enough that it might look good, ehh, at least I got to practice finishing. Have to thank another lumberjock for the CA finishing technique, so Thanks JPringle!
thanks for looking
