2nd ever winged bowl.
This one is made form “scrap” Sapele. I used to work (economy got me again) for one of the largest Architectural Woodworking firms in Utah. And the material for this bowl was waste from the new federal court house in downtown Salt Lake City Utah. Not the best looking building from the outside but has some of the best woodworking on the inside.
1 solid piece of Sapele finished at – 3 3/4” wide x 9 1/2” long x 2 1/2” tall <wing>. Lathe work is so addictive its nuts. Does anybody know if there is a AA group for wood turners? Ha ha.
Sorry for the different backgrounds just trying to find something that works for taking pics.

Thanks for looking and let me know what you think.

Looks great, like the unique form and the Sapele is gorgeous with great finish. Great turning piece!
