Another Mr. Moon Man sleeping the night away. He has a peaceful spirit and a whimsical smile. He loves his place in the Solar System and encourages Loving thoughts. He believes that our thoughts are what we are. To be loving, forgiving and accepting are always in his intentions. I carved him out of Quilted Big Leaf Maple. Quilted Maple grain is the rarest of the Maple grains. It is revered in the electric guitar industry as the best. It is really a beautiful piece of wood. I really enjoy the circular motion of this piece. Most of the time I make them more of a sliver of a moon. This piece is more of a tickle for me. :)

He measures 19 1/4” tall by 13 1/2” wide by 1 1/4” thick

He is flat on the back. I attached a self leveling saw toothed hanger on the back for him to hang and I signed him Wiz on the back as well.

beautiful carving. the quilted makes it look like your viewing the moon thought the clouds.

That is one of the best pcs of wood I have ever seen. The quilting is perfect. And your eye to see what was hiding inside and the skill you have to bring it out is perfect. If I could I would put it on my wall in my house.
