I am using an old trick to kick pen blanks up a notch. Cutting my pen blanks on the diagonal. Very easy to do on a band saw or table saw using simple homemade sled.

Think these eight cigar pens perfect examples.

Good looking Oak. I wish people would use wood that looked like this more often. Any time you can flip the grain of good looking wood gives you the best finished projects.
Nice work and are you going to sell them. I think you can restock your wood shelf from the profits of these babies.

They are beautiful. Like those pretty grains and figures on wood which go very well with the kit. Great job!
