I needed a spray paint booth (and all around drying area without dust) and an air cleaner for the shop. (My landlord puts into the lease that you can’t spray paint, so we compromised.)
Being a person who likes to multitask, I combined them.
The intake for the room has two filters, the outer filter is really basic to catch large dust, and then there is a finer filter before the fan.
Inside is another fan and three filters blowing out to catch any spray paint or fumes. I find that using the two fans, with this combination of filters gets just the right amount of air flow to help dry things quickly.
I plan on putting in some shelves and a table soon.
The exterior has peg board on it for hanging tools. I have just started to try out how I want the layout to be in the end. It will be full of all the odd tools that I have piled on shelves now.
The whole unit is movable via pallet jack. (Well, two of them.) It measures approximately 8’ X 6’ X 8’.
All in all, I like how it turned out for my first “construction” project. In hindsight, I would do some things differently if I were to do it again, but not so unhappy with anything that I would take things apart to fix it.
Thanks for looking.
