This is the 2006 Philharmonic House Of Design. To explain this house what happens is that every year the Philharmonic society gets a bunch of designers together and get one homeowner to commit their house. Each designer gets their own room and designs it they way they want (in theory). When everything is done they put on a show for the public. You have to pay to walk through the house and there is booths in the yard to buy shirts and things. The proceeds benefit the children. I donated all the labor on this project to build and install it. Another company who I know well now came in after the install and finished it onsite. I could not afford to donate the finish and the build. That would have killed me. This is the first part of a series I will post. Sorry I don’t know how to use photo bucket to do it in this one thread. I will learn that though in time. Thanks.

Truly beautiful work! You say the project benefited the children but Id say it benefited the home owner more. They got a $200K+ kitchen for 60% to 70% off. Were the materials donated too? If so they got it for 100% off : ) I want to be part of this Philharmonic society, sounds like they have some kickass benefits. After all that amazing work I hope you at least got a few referral jobs.

Take care and thanks for sharing

this project lead to several jobs. In fact, I just finished 250k worth of cabinets for a client that walked through the house. It’s worth the donation.

Did you build the range hood? The cabinets look beautiful and looks like the work we do in our cabinet shop. We are currently working on over .5 million dollars worth of cabinets in a $20M home.
