This is my entry into to the Cracked Box Society, hopefully one of the other esteemed members will send me the code word and secret handshake. I’m sure membership has it’s privileges, and will no doubt be a total chick magnet. The box is poplar. I made it for my granddaughter’s 9th birthday. Here is a link to the plans I used.

Well. I must say it is one of the most unique projects that I have seen. Nicely done and sure to be a conversation piece as your granddaughter grows up. Let us know how you do on the ‘chick magnet’ – we all might be inspired to make one of these. (-;

I’m sure your Granddaughter will love it, lots of drawers for her “special things”, which will no doubt change over time.

I really need to make one as a priority… even if I’m not close to considering being a chick magnet.
But a secret handshake would be nice even if I wouldn’t remember the code word.

What’s the size?

Those beautiful big eyed grand daughters really deserve special gifts like this and I am sure the little chick
will promptly reward you. Did you put bottom center slides on the 1/2 drawers to keep them tracking
properly? Thank you for sharing, and a word of warning-great grand children are even better at getting
us to build things.

Great job on a very popular build!

I have yet to build either a cutting board or a cracked box so I have a long way to go before I achieve full membership status.

Great box…sorry, but we can’t give you the secret handshake or the code word here, because they are for only the special few…..you will be contacted with the information..

Very nice. luv it.

Next time I get a crack in one of my projects I’ll just call it a Cracked. ;~). I can charge more, like holes in jeans.

Here’s your first chick, I’m sure there’s more to follow.
