Pizza peel

My old purchased pizza peel (which you can see the edge of in the first picture) started cracking and breaking so I decided it was time to get a new one. I used some cherry I had leftover from other projects and re-sawed and planed down to 3/8” thick. I used a flexible sanding strip for the curve of the blade and a rasp for roughing out the bevel of the blade.

Nice job on the pizza peel. One of these are pretty high on my to do list. I hope mine turns out as nice as yours!

Looks good, the wood has pretty grains and finish. Well done!
