After building my tool chest, my fiancee wanted me to build her one to store her make-up in. It’s built out of oak veneer plywood, with maple accents. My fiancee thinks the contrast is too much, so I may dye the maple to match the oak. The finish is rosewood dye, shellac and paste wax.

What drew me to this was the contrast. I really like it. Great job.

Beautiful box! Like the pretty contrast of the trim and handles. Lucky lady!
