Here is an offering box I made for my church. The box is made of curly cedar with a ziricote overlay and two granadillo inlays. The finish is lacquer.

Thanks for looking,

It’s beautiful, very well crafted. Like the beautiful top especially the inlays and great joints. I’m sure your church appreciates it. Great job!

Beautiful! I am a pastor and we have a “Collection Box” of sorts for donations to the local mission in Waco. It’s a Folgers coffee can with a paper sign that says. “Donations For Mission Waco”. The children love bringing change to put in it ever Sunday and they know more about what wonderful things the Mission does than the adults. I even took them down there to help serve a meal and learn about missions, so they know how important those pennies, nickles and dimes are. I would love to have a box like this to emphasize how much priority we put on missions, then maybe the adults would bring their change too. ;) If I live long enough maybe I’ll get my skill level near the level to make one.
Thanks for showing us this, to me it was a true blessing!
