My wife decided that she wanted to remodel the kitchen. She was also in love with the beetle kill pine look. We looked on the internet for ideas and found none. So we decided to wing it. With no construction background, and not a lot of wood working experience we started hammering away. This awesome wholesaler in Loveland CO had the pine already cut into planks tongue and groove style, which made it real easy to work with. It was a lot like laying a hardwood floor. Then we poured bar top epoxy on it and had a new custom kitchen. It was a pretty easy project in all, just really labor intensive. I really enjoy working with this beetle kill pine and look forward to many more projects with it.

Nicely done, indeed! I love the blue pine. What’s the name of the dealer in Loveland? I’m in Denver. I’ve got a beetle-kill pine lumber supplier just east of Castle Rock.

Recently we have been going to a dealer in Denver. He is off 71st and federal. He has a huge supply of beetle kill. I’ll get his name for you.

They are out of business now and unfortunately lowes sells it only if you want to pay 6 dollars a board.

Have your say...
