When making the cutting board I had some very thin strips of oak and cherry left from initial milling of the wood. I had seen this design over at Wood Working for Mere Mortals. I used a piece of 2×4 to make a s curve mold and then laminated 6 strips together with the center only half height. You can slide photos in the slot and since it is bent it is free standing. I just grabbed a couple of the fridge magnets for the photo. A simple spray varnish finish. I can see making this a little bigger with a wider slot to display coins.

Cool picture display. Good use of leftovers.

Very cool and sleek photo stand. Like the great design, has a lot of possibilities. Great job!
