i made this pair of boxes for my brother and his wife. the boxes are made of quarter-sawn oak and mahogany. they are the same size fornt to abck, however the oak box is about an inch taller. I could bring my self to tirm off the extra wood. the lids are interchangeable to match thier taste. the boxes were finnished with rub on poly and a final sanding with 650 grit.

Very nice combination of woods, and the construction looks very good as well.
